Arriving by Car

Driving to Wadi Rum is simple and allows you to enjoy the beautiful desert scenery at your own pace.

Directions

Follow the Desert Highway, then take the road toward Wadi Rum Village. After a few kilometers, you will arrive at the Visitor Center, where you must:

  • Present your Jordan Pass
     or
  • Pay the entrance fee of 7 JOD for the protected area

Continue approximately 6 km toward Rum Village. On your right, you will find free parking near the Rest House — this is our main meeting point, where we will welcome you.

  • We recommend arriving before sunset whenever possible

Arriving by Taxi

Taxi is one of the easiest and most comfortable ways to reach Wadi Rum from major cities in Jordan.

Taxis generally operate with standard prices, but we always recommend agreeing on the fare with the driver before departure.

For a smoother experience, we can also organize private transportation through trusted local drivers we regularly work with.

Arriving by Bus

Several bus connections are available between Wadi Rum and Jordan’s main tourist destinations. Some routes are direct, while others may require a connection in another city.

For schedules and reservations, we recommend checking the official website of JETT Bus Company.

Booking online is strongly recommended, especially during high season.

Aqaba → Wadi Rum

  • Local minibuses operate several times daily
  • JETT bus available daily
  • Departure point near Aqaba Police Station

Petra → Wadi Rum

  • Daily JETT connection
  • Approximately 2 hours travel time

Wadi Musa → Wadi Rum

  • Daily local bus departing between 6:00–6:30 AM
  • Arrival around 9:00 AM

Amman → Wadi Rum

  • Direct JETT bus available
  • Price approximately 20 JOD
  • Limited schedules depending on the season

Important Information About Local Buses

  • Departure times may vary
  • Buses often leave only when full
  • No local buses operate on Fridays
